Visitor’s Responses
It is a beautiful Island of God’s peace and holiness on the Prairies
- “There are not words to express my quiet times with Jesus in this Garden and the impact on my life .”
- “I feel the Lord’s presence here!”
- “It is hard to leave.”
Prayer Garden pathways in a natural setting lead visitors into an awareness of Christ’s suffering. Walking through the garden you will experience Jesus’s great love – If you are looking for a place of quiet prayer, you will find it there.
Canaan of God’s Glory was established in 1980 as a Canadian Branch of the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary, which was founded by Basilea Schlink in 1947 in postwar Germany. Many throughout the world have become acquainted with Mother Basilea through her publications, particularly Realities of Faith, and her autobiography, I Found The Key to The Heart of God, as well as many more. You will find literature and other materials on display.
